The Joffre is our staple backcountry and mountaineering ski. A narrower waist width & early rise rocker provide stability in varied conditions and exceptional float in powder.
This design has taken inspiration from the highly successful Husume and Flute. The Joffre is 101mm under foot and offers exceptional performance on those steeper pitches and less accessible runs. Despite the thinner waist this ski still offers ample float in deeper snow conditions.
This ski is designed for those skiers that are seeking a lighter more versatile ski that excels on steep in-bounds couloirs or on those peaks deep in the backcountry.
