The Performance binding is actually lighter (~187g per pair) than the racing Rottefella bindings and a more affordable price tag, but with a less sturdy/stiff latch and less durable plastic. Mounts to any NIS plate with the use of the included NIS-key tool. This binding will be durable enough for training and light-racing but for a more secure attachment to your ski, you should upgrade to the racing level bindings.
